As a subsidiary of Porsche Holding located in Salzburg, Porsche Bank AG is an international company offering professional car financing services.

Porsche Bank history begins on March 6 ^th 1966, when Porsche Holding manages to conclude the first leasing agreement for a Volkswagen Beetle, thus setting the grounds of a new financing service covering the entire territory of Austria.

As of 1994, Porsche Bank AG dares to extend towards the markets were Porsche Austria Holding had already stepped onto as an importer and dealer. Thus, Porsche Bank AG conquers the market in Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia, Romania, Serbia/Montenegro and Bulgaria, bringing along a 40-year old international tradition and an experience difficult to match.

Porsche Bank AG is currently the main shareholder of Porsche Finance Group Romania, a group formed of five companies: Porsche Leasing Romania, Porsche Bank Romania, Porsche Insurance Broker, Porsche Mobility and Porsche Insurance.

Porsche Finance Group Romania offers financing and insurance products for the group's brands such as Volkswagen, Audi,  SEAT, Skoda, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle, Porsche, as well as for exclusive brands such as Bugatti, Bentley and Lamborghini.
