What is financial leasing?

Financial leasing concerns the operation by means of which a party, called a lessor/financer, leases for a predetermined period of time the right to use over an asset whose owner is a lessee/user, in exchange of a periodically paid amount, called the lease rate. At the end of the leasing period the lessor/financer is bound to observe the right of option of the lesse/user concerning the latter’s purchase of the asset, extension of the leasing contract without changing the leasing formula, or termination of contract provisions. The lessee/user may opt for the purchase of the asset prior to the end of the leasing period, but no sooner than 12 months.

How do you conceive the francise?

The francise is that particular fraction of the prejudice falling under the responsibility of the ensured and which is not indemnified by the insurance company. It either has a fixed value or is established as a percentage and is specified in the insurance contract.

What is the minimum duration of a leasing contract?

In full compliance with the legal provisions in force, a leasing contract must have a minimum duration of 12 months.

What does the lease instalments comprise?

The lease instalment represents the share of the historical cost established for the asset, the share of the leasing interest and the share of the insurance premium, as the case may be.

I have changed my head office. What steps do I have to take?

 In order to perform the change in the virtual database, the customer must submit to us a signed and stamped request, a copy of the new Tax Identification Number and a copy of the related judgment and decree.

I wish to change my billing address. What is the procedure?

Should you wish to receive the lease instalment invoice to a different address from the one specified in the Tax Identification Number, you must submit to us a signed and stamped request in which you demand the change and also specify the new address.

I wish to terminate the contract ahead of schedule. What is the procedure?

In order to terminate the leasing contract ahead of schedule it is necessary to submit to us, in the case of legal entities, a signed and stamped written request.

The termination of contracts ahead of schedule can only be applied to contracts with a minimum execution of 12 months.
