Social Responsibility
Porsche Finance Group Romania is an active company focused on development, for which long-term partnerships are important - both with clients and other interested parties, such as the external enviromentand the local community.
The organization's role exceeds the business domain, Porsche Finance Group Romania having set education and health as its main areas of social involvement. Thus, Corporate Social Responsability (CSR) initiatives adapted to the needs of local communities have been started in these two fields. These efforts came to completion with the conclusion of two long-term partnerships with UNICEF Romania and Hospice Casa Sperantei (House of Hope).
Porsche Finance Group Romania is the sole partner of UNICEF in the project to set up a Resource Centre for Parents and Children in Medgidia. The recently inaugurated Centre is dedicated to parental ability development services (Parental Education), a relatively new type of community services of risk prevention for children and their families. Parental education classes will be held by teachers, doctors and psychologists specialized in this field. Porsche Finance Group Romania's long-term goal is to support the development of similar centres incounties with high school dropouts rates.
In the field of health, Porsche Finance Group Romania is among those who support the Hospice Casa Sperantei organization in opening a centre for palliative care in Bucharest. Hospice Casa Sperantei is a non-governmental charity organization, a regional centre for excellence in creating and developing specialized care services for advanced terminal patients.
